jueves- Jazzy Thursday Veladas a cargo del guitarrista Adry Fernandez, que irá acompañado, cada día, por un músico emergente dentro del jazz barcelonés.
Un espacio innovador dentro de la oferta musical de la ciudad condal. Una oportunidad para disfrutar y descubrir a los nuevos estandartes de este género.

Usually at the end of the first week of January, Barcelona celebrates the Tres Tombs Festival, in honour of the patron saint of animals, Sant Antoni. The actual Saint´s day is the 17th January and there are many parties surrounding the date. At the Tres Tombs Festival, you will see several horse processions and the blessing of animals by priests. Taking place in the Sant Andreu and Eixample districts of Barcelona, as well as the Vilanova area (around 40 minutes by train from Barcelona), this interesting display of animal appreciation is something you do not want to miss.

This year is the ninth edition of Beefeater In-Edit to be held in Barcelona and it’s worth casting our eyes back and confirming the place that’s been made for music documentaries in this country. The Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona recommends “The Asia Festival”

The Asia Festival has reached its tenth year and will celebrate with a wide range of high quality productions from abroad and the presence of the Asian communities in Catalonia. From 16th to 25th September, Barcelona will again become a showcase for the cultural richness and diversity of Asia.
This year’s programme puts special emphasis on countries from Central Asia. The Festival will open with the traditional music of the band Turan from Kazakhstan. There will also be the Chinese singer Mamer, greatly influenced by the nomadic Kazakh culture. We will be able to see and participate in demonstrations by fighters from the Naadam Festival in Mongolia, discover the interior of the yurts in the squares of El Raval or learn games from Central Asia.
The Festival will bring to the stage musicians visiting Barcelona for the first time, such as the young bandPe’z (Samurai Jazz Band) from Japan or the Pakistani pop singer Humera Harshad and demonstrations of Kalarippayat (the oldest martial art) by CVN Kalari Shangham from India.
These shows are complemented by a wide range of activities, including games, demonstrations, participatory events and stories, organised by associations and people from Asian communities that will take place within the framework of “A Day in Asia”.
